Chad has been a Partner at Alair Homes Dallas-Fort Worth, a distinguished custom home building and remodeling company, along with his wife, Diane Hatfield, for over four years. Chad and Diane oversee a team of experienced residential project managers and partner with a specialized team of architects and interior designers that serve the communities of Dallas, University Park, Park Cities, North Dallas, Richardson, Plano, and the surrounding communities. They are focused on residential whole-home and large-scale interior remodeling and new custom homes.

Prior to Alair Homes, Chad Hatfield founded his legacy company, Hatfield Builders & Remodelers, a premier design-build and remodeling firm, in 2005. Under Chad’s leadership, Hatfield Builders was one of Dallas’ notable remodeling design-build firms for over 15 years. The decision to start his own company came after Chad obtained his professional real estate inspector’s license and was inspecting thousands of homes across North Texas.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Construction Technology from Texas Tech University, Chad started his career in the commercial construction space working as Project Superintendent at Turner Construction, the largest general contractor in the United States. Before that, he worked as Project Manager for United Forming, Inc., a well-known concrete formwork company in Florida.
Chad Hatfield holds a Master Certified Remodeler certification and a Master Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler certification from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He was recognized by Professional Remodeler Magazine as one of their top Forty Under 40 in 2014, and Chad continues to be featured in the publication as an experienced industry leader. He has been on multiple industry podcasts and quoted in dozens of articles. He was awarded MVP for his roundtable group at Remodelers Advantage in 2014. He was also inducted into the Big50 by Remodeling Magazine one year later, along with receiving the ServiceMaster award from Guild Quality.
